Hello there!

I haven't had to time to talk about my Spring Break experience in the U.S. Which means, that this blog will be dedicated to my Spring Break experience.

When I thought about Spring Break before arriving in the U.S. the one thing that came into my mind was of course, PARTYING! However, I wanted to spend my time more efficiently, because my wife was visiting me for 1,5 weeks! And, I mean, come on, it's always a party when you are with me :-)

So, we spent our week in the lovely New York City! We have done quite a few things (accompanied by pictures, don't forget to check the album). Here, I'll put a short summary and/or list of what we have done. These are also the things I would recommend you doing if you plan on visiting the city that never sleeps!

1. We arrived around afternoon, so by the time we checked-in in our hotel and organized a little, it was already evening. So we figured it would be nice to go to Time Square first. Vibrating colors, throbbing energy everywhere. You have lots of stores here such as H&M, Forever21, Hershey's store, M&M's store and what not. So if you want to experience a good shopping day, do it!

2. The next day we went to the SoHo district, visiting Little Italy and China Town. This is a very artsy district from fashion to authentic Italian and Chinese culture.

3. Following up on our list; Central Park and 5th avenue. Here, again, you can see a nice contrast from the city life. Lots of artists presenting their art and street artists showing their craft. 5th avenue you can see all the fancy shops, we have walked for 3 hours! Here you can also visit the Rockefeller centre and go in the Top of the Rock building to see NYC from above. Further more you have ''The Tonight Show'' studio you can visit and one of my favorite places; the Nintendo Store! - nerdgasm.

4. MoMa museum is up next! Here you can find all sorts of arts from minimalistic to pop-art. I would suggest buying your tickets in advance in order to prevent standing in long lines.

5. One World Center! If you want to see NYC from an even higher perspective than that of Top of the Rock, go to the World Trade Center district. Here you can also visit a lot of memorials.

6. Last but not least; walking across Brooklyn Bridge is also a very cool activity to do if you visit NYC.

This is a short compilation and summary of the things we have done during Spring Break.

Enjoy the read!
